Yeah, Cabrera has been pretty worthless since 2017. I hadn't seen it in person (obviously not watching a ton of Tigers games lol) but he looks atrocious up there. He signed that 248M contract in 2017 and has legitimately been worthless for just about the entirety of that deal. It's easily one of the worst contracts ever given out.

Why is when our pitchers get injured it's always for some obscene amount of time ? They always seem to a be season or season 1/2 long, minimally. Could just be me, but the IL lengths seem for much more extended amounts of time than others. Thanks Baseball Allah.

and yet he wins again leadoff runner gets on w the team down by one and Rojas (who bunted for a hit yesterday) swings away grounding into a force Betts follows w a hit that easily ties the game and w 1st and 2nd FF hits into the dp that sort of ineptitude may still result in a win against the tigers but no way against the better teams you'd think this would be the time to get the fundamentals down i heard a talk show guy saying there are guys practicing bunts before games wtf? is he saving it for a super duper secret weapon or something? had 1st and 3rd w one out early as well why not try something since these games mean NOTHING
Great story about Graterol and the reunion with his mother after being separated for 7 yrs. Can't imagine what emotions he was feeling on the mound last night. Loved how Pepiot was allowed to pitch his way out of the 7th. All part of the learning process. If last night's result weren't so meaningless in the standings, the final play of the game would have been a classic. Clutch hit, good throw and great slide.
Well, don't quite know what to make of Miller tonight...basically, pitching like a pile of shit would be kinda accurate. P.U. James saves him from worse batting practice with super catch...
