I'm pissed that we don't have Eric Smith anymore!:angry::angry:

That guy was such a great part of the stadium experience, this indeed does suck.

i have to assume that you're struggling with your hearing in your advanced age.

i agree, but if Koufax is looking for HRs in the clean up spot..Joc is probably gonna hit more HRs than HK, Grandal, SVS, AND Uribe, right?

no yaddah, yaddah, yaddahs, old man. you jumped into the conversation late..the conversation's origins don't change just because you want them to.

and i know the story of why HK was put in the clean up spot by Scioscia, however, the point is exactly that..he was put there by Scioscia as well, so get off DBB's nuts. there's plenty of other stuff to needle DBB about..this isn't really one of them.

still on with the " small sample size "? again..HK is a CAREER .292/.345/.413 hitter with RISP and that's some 1,080 games, genius. now, refer to the red in the following quote..the part of the quote that you conveniently ignored..

..so placing Kendrick behind Puig/AGon is the reasonable thing to do based on the structure of this team, period. this whole clean up spot issue is ridiculous in itself because they're obviously gonna see more right handed starters and that means Crawford is gonna be in the lineup and probably in the 2-hole..which would probably push Puig to 3rd, AGon to 4th, and Kendrick to 5th and out of the clean up spot most nights.

bottom line, clean up spot be damned..Kendrick produces when his team's best hitters get on base. i wouldn't give a shit if Puig and AGon were hitting 7th and 8th in the lineup..based on this team not having another guy that's a more trusted righty run producer, Kendrick hitting 9th behind AGon/Puig would even be reasonable in that whacky scenario. that's it and that's all. so get over it, carolina..you and Koufax are the only guys who think Uribe is a fit behind AGon. you two better stop hanging with Josh Hamilton.

    that is getting it done.

expect nothing less from a guy who's been so good with RISP over some 1080 games.
