welp, Urias is going back to the bullpen in Baltimore lol. With Hill coming back, wonder if they think Gonsolin/Hill is good enough for a 4th starter? (Or 3rd if needed).

We’re not catching the Stros the way they are playing. We may catch up to NYY. Then we have to hope that NYY beats out the Stros cause I do not want a rematch of Houston LA.

Plus I like the historical nature of a WS with NYY and LA.

I guess it's a foregone conclusion that we're winning the pennant, eh? Looking at where this team is now...
We'll be lucky to do that, I think.

It’s not a foregone conclusion we get past the NLDS. Facing the hottest of Washington, Chicago, Milwaukee, or Arizona? Even if they are down an ace, it’s going to be a tough matchup (at our current pace we could enter the playoffs without an ace ourselves). It almost wouldn’t be the worst thing to lose HFA in the NL and face the Cardinals instead... or maybe it would.

Bottom line, last year we barely won the NL in a down year, and I don’t think the field is nearly as nerfed in 2019. I like our chances as much as anyone, but we have a long way to go still.

We couldn’t beat the Stros with HFA, so maybe not having it is just what the doctor ordered?

Oh who am I kidding? Here’s to hoping the A’s or Rays get hot and take out the whole field.

Nine hits over the past two days, despite SF starting two pitchers with ERAs north of 5.00. Got bailed out today by the two HRs, which has been the winning MO of late.

Need to start stringing a bunch of hits together. This HR or nothing attack is going to fail them in the postseason.

There’s more days off during the playoffs but if he can only pitch 2-3 innings every 4 days then he’s pitching during 2 games and you’re hoping a situation calls for him to pitch during game 1 or 2

Now, if it can turn into 2 inning stints but with 2 days rest, then he’s much more useful and can throw 2-3 times and it doesn’t necessarily HAVE to be early

True...he can catch. I like the kid, but it is what it is.
I have to wonder, if he's not going to play, which I knew he would be, why is Barnes up ?
As far as Beaty, I definitely think he should be on the roster. We need him.
It's not beyond reality that a Seager/ Bellinger/Muncy/ JT post season malaise is reoccurring, as seems the Dodger Destiny.
