This is the best 10-18 team I've ever seen. The good thing is a little maturity and one great player makes this a really good team.
Julius dunked on Durant last night too, I missed that one But it wasn't on Nance's level, Nance's was just filthy, no mercy
Good game. Much like seemingly half of their losses this season, have to hang last night's loss on Luke. Once again, Julius is shorted on minutes. Just about fed up with Julius not getting more minutes, especially considering they played an extra 5 min in OT. Guy is playing top shelf defense and moving the ball/playing tough and efficiently on the offensive end, what else does he have to do? Don't know. At least he's playing more than Nance, I guess, but that should be a given and it's probably not. Not with Luke. Anyway, another good game from Zo, been stacking them lately. 3rd game in a row with 3 made 3 pointers and shooting 45% from the 3pt line over the short stretch, 47% from the field overall. The ability to shoot/score exists. Also, not sure if Brewer will hit another 3 pointer this season. Still can't help but love his energy and how he buys them extra possessions though. I guess if he were to hit open 3 pointers, he wouldn't be Brewer at all..he'd be Trevor Ariza. Deep in a slump, Lopez hurting his ankle was a blessing in disguise for him. Needs to just sit down and regroup.
Not sure I can agree. Randall played the entire 4th qtr and all of the OT. One could make the argument that Randall was the cause of loss due to his poor FT shooting and blocked shots in the 4th and OT periods (I think he was blocked twice, once in the 4th and once in the OT). It would be nice to see Zubac gets some playing time......what the crap happened to him???
He gets some minutes in spots but looked lost when I saw him. I think with the loss of Lopez he may have some more time in the future. I really like him but he is a young kid.
The Dr J/Worthy State of Liberty element to it makes it classic. That and it was over if you beat 'em, join 'em Durant.
31 minutes isn't enough when he wasn't in any foul trouble on a night where they went a total of 53 minutes and lost Lopez to injury. The missed FTs are basically a team-wide issue. Ingram missed like 6 FTs last night as well. They all need to step it up at the FT line. Probably trade bait at this point
I'm about 80/20 on Paul George not being that one great player at this point. The way I see it, they need either LeBron or Cousins
Mike BresnahanVerified account@Mike_Bresnahan 52m52 minutes ago Each rotation player had to stick around and make 100 free throws after today’s practice, Luke Walton said. Double that shit, filter in some crowd noise, talk about their moms and girlfriends while they're shooting, make'em shoot blindfolded..something has to work and kill this beast.
Reaction from the Zo on the bench after the Nance dunk Lol Thomas Bryant, the new Ronny Turiaf/Rob Sacre, about to kick one of the assistant coaches in the chin with his celebration Durant dunked on in front of so many stars and old time NBA greats that were there for Kobe's ceremony Lol, he definitely got the last laugh though
I really don't want LeBron. Sure he's the best available, but I want this team to have it's own identity. I'm also worried he's going to get old really fast. Like the day after he signs with the lakers. PG would be great...if he can just come and be one of the guys along with BI and Lonzo. If he wants to be the alpha dog, I'm not sure I want him. Boogie would be perfect IMO. Essentially swap him for Brook Lopez and that's probably a playoff team next year. At this point, I'm on team keep Randle. Not sure it's possible, but really love how he's been playing lately.
