Well, I don't see an alternative on the team really. Jansen is great when coming into a game in a bad sitution, like tonight. Bases loaded and 0 outs, he holds them to 1 run. League would probably allow more runs usually in a bases loaded situation like that. This is the 3rd time I remember a relief pitcher doing that weird (Broxton like) pitch sequence of a zillion fastballs and all 3 ended in a big HR. League's done it twice, tonight and I think against Goldshit at DS right? Jansen in ATL vs. Gattis, same fucking thing. all FBs and foulballs until BOOM! What is the deal with these guys going that shit? League needed to throw a splitfinger or something, Helton's old, but he is smart and obviously talented and cool under fire. League has been better lately until that one AB. I want to know why he's throwing FBs and not splitters anymore. Same with Jansen, throw something else once in a while! I think we need to keep Jansen where he is, the tough 7-8th inning role. He's going good there and that is a tough job and it's as important as closer. Belesario scares me but he might be a safer bet at closer right now, although he doesn't seem anymore constistant than League anymore. If we had a clearcut better option, I think it's get done.
