    Crawford coming back should be a boost to the offense. Even though it seems Ethier is starting to get it together, I'm still not on board with him being much of an impact player the rest of the season. He still hasn't done much in the offensive category since the teams turn around. Since the win against the Padres he is OPS'ing at .726 with 3 multi hit games(2 just happened at Coors) and 4 2B's. It looks like his power is just flat gone. Hopefully Crawford can get our lead off spot a boost and the team can land a 2B or 3B that can fill Ethier's spot in the lineup (C'mon Chase Utley!).

    Ethier has a career .444 avg vs Cain, so that probably played into not starting CC tonight. I guess by-the-numbers it might make sense to give Kemp the night off, but with his mini-streak you've got to let it play out to see how far he can take it.

    Either way, not a bad option to have Crawford available to PH in a key situation.

    Word I read from scouts back when he was struggling with the Rockies is that he does not listen to his coaches. They've been trying to tell him that he had a hole in his swing, but he did nothing to fix it as he had good results in the minors. I remember Kevin Goldstein saying a couple years ago that Stewart would never be a MLB regular thanks to his lack of respect for his coaches advice. He fills a hole down in AAA, but don't look at him in the pros unless something goes catastrophically wrong.
