Snipers tell me that it's easier to get a bead on that cap when it's titled askew like that.

I'm not suggesting anything either ...

Couldn't see it...no TV, but I simply think Buehler is overrated. Plain and simple. He's capable of total game domination once in a while, but I don't think with any consistency. Loses it all too frequently.
For me, he epitomizes the Jekyll/ Hyde thing. Sometimes from inning to inning, much less game to game.
His cockiness and bravado imo, are not justified. Not at this point in time, anyway.

You boys are watching the games, and I defer to you entirely (homo) ...

That said, he's still 24, no? He is a cocky bastard, as he was last year. That doesn't change much except with great suffering & growth. Maybe he'll grow, or maybe he'll be the new Greg Brock, or whatever. I hope he works out, because if LA were to move him and he turned into the next Pedro Martinez ... good Lord, that'd be such a drag. LA gave up on Pedro as 'too small' at 22 years old. Buehler ... he could be that guy. I sure would like to think so ...

after Julio gave up the two HR's we turned on jeopardy for 30 min and came back to 8-4 and watched Seager go deep
i turned to my mom's caregiver and said its improbable but not impossible and was telling her about the 4 hr comeback
watched and screamed as they came back and took the game
was in such a great mood i took off to the gf's house and destroyed half a bottle of zacapa23
    that was a great night

i was out last night w/wifey and couldn’t watch the game
got home and saw it was 8-4
actually said “we picked a really good game to miss”
about 45 minutes later i got a text we’d won
i could have watched the comeback and chose not to...

I wish I "watched" it, but at least I did follow it pitch-by-pitch on gamecast. I was just hoping for a couple of base runners to give Belli a chance at doing something special. So when I saw Joc go "in play, run(s) scored," I figured, that works too. Then when Maximus had the same update, I started getting really pumped (no homo), knowing that Belli could tie it. Then JT gets "in play, no out" and I I'm feeling really good about at least a tie. Cody doubles him in and I'm whooping and hollering. Two batters later and it was bases loaded and a mere formality at that point. Great sequence to experience, although as I said, it would've been better watching it.

Speaking of the mere formality, isn't it great with runners in scoring position and less than two outs to actually have an expectation of scoring? Wasn't too long ago that scoring in that situation was still an exception, not an expectation.

I call that time "most of the 21st Century" in Dodger time ...

Remember Quantrill/Mota & Gagne protecting 1-0 leads for three innings? Can you imagine how many World Series titles that team should have won with those arms, and even ONE bat that wasn't named Krueter, Bocachica, Izturis, Cora, Grudzilgranshrek, or Reboulet? If Shawn Green had even a tiny bit of help ... we wouldn't be 0-for-thirty fecking years ...

Only player I'd hate to be a Dodger more is Bumgarner. Well... and Belt. And Parra. Actually I'd take Parra over Rodney, under the "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" clause.
