    You are right, found it!

But there is also a lot of excitement about a weapon forming in their minor league system: hard-throwing Frankie Montas, who was acquired as part of a three-team deal with the White Sox and Reds last winter, along with outfielderTrayce Thompson and infielder Micah Johnson.

Initially, the Dodgers anticipated Montas would have a chance to be a late-inning reliever for manager Dave Roberts this season, crushing hitters with a fastball that rides in the high 90s. But in recent weeks, as the Dodgers scrambled for rotation options, they used Montas as a starter, and he has looked great in Triple-A. Starting against Nashville in the second game of a doubleheader Thursday, Montas allowed one run in four innings, with no walks and six strikeouts. In his next turn, Montas' pitch count will be extended and he could work five or six innings.

Urias is a star prospect who has shown he could eventually have high impact for the Dodgers. But probably not this year, because he's quickly running out of innings.

But Montas is four years older, and because an injury has held him back at the outset of this year, he'll have plenty of innings for the last 3 1/2 months of the regular season.

Maggi sounds like the type of utility guy we need to backup ss and 2b.

Very solid list that doesn't even have one of the teams better prospects. It would be nice to see some consistency from him, but he is in a slump right now.

Bitter pill for Bellinger, the slow start and the recent slump

Next Sundays likely starter in the event Maeda can't go, Jharel Cotton went 7IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 2 BB and 7K. Probably the best option currently in the minors.

If true, Zach Lee is the Fredo of the Dodger organization.

There is a heat warning for that neck of the woods and is currently 95. Not shocked he did not go long today in that.

Sounds like the Padres are planning to spend up to around 40 mil+ taxes on the Cubans this year. May have just come with ridiculous offers to Lazaro and Gutierrez. Shocked about Gutierrez as the Dodgers were courting him heavily.

You seem to up on the minor leagues so to your knowledge what happens to the draft picks that sign, extended ST or are they as a procedure are put into the rookie league? I'm guessing it's always different but enlighten me please.

Gurriels (plural) need to be in play for us, both of them.
Lourdes turns 23 in October, so he's waiting until then to ink a deal, won't be subject to the bonus pool bs

Really depends on age, use and when they sign. I can't really predict what the club will do with their guys as this FO showed last year that they may be very aggressive with some picks. Most of the college guys will probably be scattered between Ogden and Great Lakes and I could see both Sheffield and Smith getting to Rancho by summers end. High school pitchers that sign probably go to Arizona with HS position players starting there and moving to Ogden if they can handle it.
