It's just more confirmation for what he's been doing for years now. His last AB was horrible. Took a pitch down the middle. Swung and missed a pitch down the middle. Actually worked it to a full count, then swung at a slider so far off the plate Matt Kemp was shaking his head.

I honestly don't see how we'll score off of good pitching, even with Joc and Turner back. I'm glad the playoffs are months away, because this team isn't close to ready.

Adrian and Puig are both bums now and it kills us. Bellinger has saved our asses but can't he expected to carry us. He strikes out 40 percent of his ABs and the BA is plummeting.

Batting average isnt the best tool to analyze a hitter. Far from it. But when we have so many hitters that hit low-volume (Joc, Grandal, Bellinger, Puig), it's very difficult to score runs in magnified situations in the post season. Our run differential is great right now. But I have this feeling we are built for the regular season again. Easy to say now when we are losing and feeling crappy about life, but we have seen it before.

I agree with everything you're saying but also think, does this Nats team really seem like it's in a class above the Dodgers? That was the best the Nats could offer tonight. Their ace, their full lineup, their best relievers... it was good, obviously, but it felt similar to the Dodgers team in many ways.

I was hoping Logan and Toles would offset that offense you're speaking of that has lots of holes. But logans been shit and Toles is obviously hurt so it kills us to have a lineup mostly of swing and miss guys.

Just think. If we didn't absolutely rob the Brewers of two games, it would be a seven game slide. Thing about our team, is even in our slumps we can still manage to steal wins. Today and yesterday could have done the same, but we're just a little too shit at baseball.

You can build a team around a few constant performers with streaky guys, but right now it is not happening. The 4 guys who were supposed to be those constant contributors have been hurt (Turner), streaky himself (Seager), is no longer a first division starter (AGon) and been god fucking awful, mixed in with some DL stints(Forsythe). We are a few days removed from walloping the Central, but it is becoming more and more clear that when Turner comes back, at least two of Forsythe, AGon, Joc and Puig are going to have to awake from the dead or this team will have trouble winning this division unless some sizeable move is made. A RH corner OF bat seems to be the obvious choice, but not sure which ones are available that will help this team. Braun now has had two separate stints on the DL and is currently sitting on it, so he is likely out unless the Brewers took back like Kazmir or AGon and Puig or something and that was about it... which would never happen.

Dude is an embarrassment to the org.
The mere fact that guys are striking him out and ordering him to the dugout thereafter is embarrassing AF to the Los Angeles Dodgers and what they're supposed to stand for in MLB

It was almost Joc-esque, the way he swept after it. Sad thing was he had worked the count to 3-2 from 0-2, and with some good takes up to that pitch, before shitting the bed.

well i think i might have attended my last game for a while
after deciding to try the lexus parking for $30 instead of the preferred at $35 ($50 if you don't buy online) i was directed to the same FUCKING LOT
these morons really think they're fucking clever don't they?
the bottle neck at the entrance as they direct everyone to the cheap parking is absurd and every one of those attendants is a slapdick
they act like cops holding up traffic for pedestrians that aren't even ready to cross
as bad as parking used to be at least it didn't cost 3 times the rate for a half assed experience
and i just know mccourt is laughing his evil ass off

btw i think something has changed in regards to the stadium itself when it comes to tickets and seating
i bought cheap RS16 tickets and my girl didn't like the height so we headed down to the field
not really all that difficult to do and if someone asked before i would always just say i was going to eat at lasordas and they waved me by
no one asked to see a ticket on the elevator or the escalators either
we stood behind field27 for a minute and i parked us in some seats mid first inning
the girl is shy and was really nervous about someone coming to kick us out, which they did mid 3rd inning w one of the DS staff
she jumped up and went behind the section and i sort of expected one of the staff to ask to see our tickets but they didn't
i had already spotted up some alternatives closer to the action in the same row and finally convinced her that nobody cared
so we sat in some great seats the rest of the game without incident other than the massive family coming and sitting in front us in the 6th
kept looking for Doughty and waved at some random black guys that made for a few uncomfortable moments
not sure if this is a new policy or its different on certain games or days of the week but it appears to me they have changed policy
sure seems like anyone can sit anywhere they want at this point and no one cares
oh and this team has issues lol
