    Righties are 100 pts better this season. Career stats (bigger sample size) on Stras show almost identical numbers vs LHB and RHB, in that he owns both. The one noticable statistical difference is that Stras's walks go up and strikeouts go down vs LHB's - so I expect a Lefty heavy lineup tonight. Joc is definitely in. We almost want to dare the Nats to go to Doolittle in the bullpen, because we all know the moment they do that it's game over.

    then we just celebrated mom's 97th last weekend and I was asked to take home her 103 year old friend
    driving home she kept telling me about her family and how lucky and grateful she was

    Probably one of the reasons Stras struggled to get Harper out. Joc looked pretty locked in last night even though it was only against fake tough guy Strickland. All for Joc getting his shot. He's done OK against high velo in the fall. However, I don't know about lefty heavy..you see the numbers for Pollock against Stras. Pollock starts in one corner or it's malpractice. Could make the argument that Taylor should be in there too, somewhere..maybe CF. Belli to 1B, Muncy 2B..maybe. All hands on deck offensively..could be the route given Kersh is likely to get blown up at some point

    Actually it’s not unfair to expect the same of Kershaw. Kershaw holds the MLB record for most playoff starts with 1 or less runs and 3 or less hits allowed.
