If Beachy is healthy I think (and want) he will beat out Bolsinger

Agree...this is a grand salami by Tubo on this one. And a great post by you.
You can't know the future, I know, in defense of the geniuses...but something smells rotten in Gingerland to me.
And when this guy was signed, he was iffy physically from the get go.
Gotta go...time to to make novena to St. Booger de Cueto.
    Bless you all....

    here's the problem with that
we shut them down on us trade
    they suddenly have more unemployed
hence, even more immigrants looking to come here

I was looking forward to Anderson having a good year, but it's not to be. I don't buy into the conspiracy theory though. Anyone who has had back trouble knows that the back has a mind of it's own, and it just goes out when it wants to, not when it's convenient. It's unfortunate, regrettable, and a shitty turn of events. But I don't think there is any blame to be placed.

Where there's smoke, there's fire..... Sign a bunch of injury prone pitchers and they end up on the DL.

    Fucking Einstein.

But since the poor, unfortunate multimillionaire is now gone for what sounds like a major chunk of the season, isn't it just a little head shaking that the choice between Bolsinger and Beachy is even a possibility...already?

Chapman is a closer so he is nullified if there is no lead to protect unfortunately.

    Well this fucking sucks

Man I hate the whole "I seen this thing coming from a mile away thing" with regards to guys getting hurt...
Give me this weekend's lottery numbers too.

Specifically it kinda hurts it happening this early pre Ryu/McCarthy returns.

Gonna be a wide open spring competition now. Should be just whoever pitches best in the spring. I don't see 1 guy having a clear advantage over the other 5 or so candidates. (Bolsinger, Beachy, Lee, Frias, De Leon) Obviously would love De Leon to kill it and win the spot with excitement but that seems fairly unlikely but who knows certainly more chance than say a Urias.

And I certainly don't see this as a good thing, Anderson is a pretty damn solid back-end guy, but I did have him as our #5 in terms of effectiveness for the rotation, hope somebody else can step up and just be decent in that last spot.

At least this gives Alex Wood a spot pretty much guaranteed for the long haul, which is good to me because I really like AW. (was not gonna type I really like Wood assholes) Big year for him seeing if he can find his old 2014 effectiveness.
