Yeah I'm not about to trade Agon and replace him with Chris Davis.
It'd be Kershaw, GReinke, Price, Ryu, Wood. Anderson would be gone. That'd be the best 5 in MLB. Pipe dream yeah. my off-season pipe dreams are Stanton, Chapman (although I really think he is a must), and Price/Cueto.

Upton just scares me. He is a peaks and valleys guy, much like AGon, but worse. Plus I don't know if he is the best clubhouse guy, he just strikes me as a "I got paid, time to chill!" type player... probably cause it runs in the family. I think if the FO gets anyone, it'll be a shock to us all. I wouldn't hate Cargo, but their FO will want entirely too much for him.

His struggles may have started before the break but his month of August was the worst of any month. Todd frazier was garbage too but it's just a coincidence I suppose.

Heyward is only 26, Ethier is 33. Heyward had a 6.5 WAR this year...last 3 years combined, Dre has a 5.4 WAR. If the front office loves WAR as much as people claim, they'll fall in love with Heyward.

I really think a RH bat is needed. The Cespedes of this year would be nice, but I got a hunch he's just looking for a contract. Which brings me to Stanton. Who would be absolutely perfect, but not realistic.

That's why most often the best teams don't win, their is a so much randomness in the sport, just gotta hope things go your way. By no means am I calling this a successful season, but it's not a catastrophic failure either, though some will try to paint it as such.

Was a fun season guys, Mets series was just the icing on the bad part of the cake. Had a ball watching and posting with you all. See you guys when the offseason starts.

I agree a big RH bat would be nice, but I just don't see where it comes from. Upton doesn't seem like it and yeah, Stanton would be perfect. I think this is going to be a real wild off season again and god knows where they could land somebody from.

"The icing on the bad part of the cake" is that your way of saying you don't want Don fired

Yeah it was fun. I guess in the end it's a great distraction. We all say we'll care less and then comes the offseason and we'll be debating about the 24 and 25 spot on the roster and about minor transactions

I just hope next season the actual season is funner. Maybe I'm alone in this, the regular season had its moments and watching Kersh-Greinke dominate was something never seen before, but just hope if we're gonna be sad every October that every April-September is filled with players that make watching 162 games worth it

IMO Donnie didn't do much wrong in the postseason. Anderson threw away a three point lead, and we executed 90% of the game plan against deGrom today. Drove his pitch count sky-high, but we're just missing a key hit. My only real gripe is Baez in game one.

Truth be told guys got us here three times straight. Unfortunately not every man is Justin Turner and eventually players need to step up. I doubt that's entirely Don's fault.

I really am impartial, blaming the manager on days like this is kind of weak.

Feel the same. I mean, I'm not gonna get up in arms if something happens but, the 3 losses didn't have much to do with him and in fact, seems as if even judging by the game threads, not a lot of moves that made us angry

2013 ruined baseball. I know I sound like a broken record, but that year was so good it made everything else mundane. And we even lost then.

Little consolation, but I won $120 off the game. I would trade it in for the NLCS 100/100 times, but it still dampens the blow. Next year I'm going to put $1000 against us in the series. That way I'll be happy either way...
