    I can see Pence as a decent player to get when healthy but Matt Moore has been putrid and if they get someone of significance for him I'm going to think that the rest of the league is colluding against us. :stirpot::D

    UPDATE: Pence has full no trade protection.

    Update:

    FWIW Tom Koehler had a 3.00 ERA in relief in 2017 (12 IP) and 7.42 as a starter (60⅔ IP). And per Brooks Baseball averaged 94.05 mph in relief compared to 93.05 as a starter

    Trading Hoskins would be peculiar, he raked in the short time he was here last here, but did fall off at the end. But for a rental who might and actually most likely won’t re-sign, would be bad business

    Actually not bad. Did alright as a reliever and the only team that actually touched him up was Boston. Pounded the strike zone when moved to relief, so I’ll be interested to see how the team works with him.

    They'll go through 8 guys like this hoping to find next year's Morrow at 3X the collective price.

    All good, until you have to spend a crucial offseason on the sidelines watching every other team that matters get better so the FUX who charge 100 bucks to park can avoid some taxes.
