    Reports this morning are that the Nats have considerably upped their 10 year 300 Mil offer to Bryce Harper and there have been multiple reports now in the last 24 hours that suggest the Dodgers are in fact out on Bryce Harper.

    I had a feeling they will be developing the prospects and trading the ones they are ok but not great and move on and if we are with in reach of the playoffs they will acquire that impact player that is available aka Mehchado.

    Just watch our star players age out and replaced with prospects or a great deal

    On the surface, that isn't a bad lineup and I would say could and should win the division with the pitching that we have. Projections have Barnes and Bellinger having huge bounce back seasons, but there are obvious areas of improvement at 2B, LF and C. Adding a guy like Harper in there makes this lineup just so much fucking scarier. The club has close to $90M coming off the books after this season and another $63M after 2021, just in time for some other guys to get pricier. Add the bopper to the middle of lineup and make the home fans happy... also they have got to find another RHH for this lineup.

    The next empty signing hype will be after July '20 when they trade half of AA to rent Trout, so Dave can PH for him!

    Nah, it's really not a surprise after all is said and done, but after they cleared two OF spots for minor leaguers, you kinda saw the moves that were needed to open the Harper door...or hoped it was.
    And the "clearing salary" that accompanied it made it all seem so.
    But now it looks like the same ' ol Dodger bullshit is front and center...yawn.
    The great anus licked, so clever FO is so brilliant, it ain't even together anymore.
    "They don't need anyone really...they can get back without the big spend ...if the do need someone, they'll make the move at the trading deadline". The new rallying cry. Imagine having the key needed addition at the beginning of the season? I know...crazy.
    Can it still be at a genius level FO collectively with half of it missing?

    I get that some people didn't like Puig, but he at least made the game entertaining. If this is how it's gonna be next year, it's gonna be a boring year.

    Anyone want me for a fantasy baseball league they run I think I want to make that a hobby then going through another year of failure

    I would like a keepers league that also does minor league rosters.

    That’s the only thing that will get me through the lean times for the next century

    Better yet let’s start one here for serious die hard baseball fans that are active head to head weekly matchups with daily lineup changes etc.

    I am all in screw this bs and start enjoying baseball as whole and hope the dodgers make the playoffs because that’s all their is for this team hope
