    Perhaps Buster Posey has political aspirations in San Francisco. He certainly has enough popularity up there to win an election if he wanted to. Why else be outspoken about the state of the city like that?

    Apparently at least one team is flirting with the idea of a 12-13 year contract for Yoshinobu Yamamoto... This is absolutely insane for any pitcher, let alone one who has never pitched in MLB...

    obviously love the 96-97 fastball, +curve and +split
    but 10, now (possibly) 12-13 years?
    if we're not all-in on yamamoto, we should probably pivot and quickly
    best options: snell (boras), burnes (brewers say they're not trading him), cease (white sox want a lot in return)
    even if glasnow stays healthy all season, we're still pretty light w/SP

    Theft is so bad, literally every person that parks on the street in SF leaves their car unlocked (with absolutely nothing in it) and the trunk open so nobody even thinks about trying to break in and steal anything.
