    Great overall post @Gebbeth

One of the greater mistakes I made in my career.. I was one of two Directors of Engineering in a tech company in a department of 30-40 engineers and we two were tasked by the non-participating VP to go hire a department admin. Two weeks in we had some lithesome, 5'8" blond beauty with a sharp wit interview and, of course we both liked her. We brought our decision to the VP who grilled us on why. I stuck with "smart" but my buddy, the other Director, pointed out that she was smart but also gorgeous and the VP said "how much work is NOT going to get done because every damned engineer in the building is going to be traipsing past her desk hourly?"

There was no answer. Truth was hard to swallow... and inconvenient, since her desk would have been just outside my office.

So we kept looking and ended up hiring some grandmother type who wouldn't entice the nerds. She had the required skills and did a competent job but... She was nowhere near as smart... and a couple years later as we were selling the company she was busted for theft!! No shit grandma was a petty thief. ARRRRGGH we could of had the hottie.

I make my hiring decisions on a wide range of factors these days but ever since I hold myself accountable to a much higher level of non-discrimination due to that incident. I ALWAYS go for talent, however talent might be measured for that given position.

Saw Hacksaw Ridge and advise it is a film the kids should not see, not because of it's principle true story about the incredible character of Doss, the only concientious objector to be awarded the Medal of Honor...but this makes Saving Private Ryan look like Disney in comparison. It is the battle for Okinawa.
Extremely intense and bloody battle scenes, the most excruciating I've ever seen. Might not want to bring even the wife or girlfriend. But this soldier's story needed to be told. Everyone should know it.
Imo, Gibson has done something pretty special here, with nice performances all around.
It's hard to believe what the truth actually was...you will be in disbelief. And emotionally drained.
There's a line in the film that I thought was great...when Doss' s Captain tells him that they need him to go back with the second wave because " the men don't believe in what you do, but they believe in you because of the way you believe in what you do".
    Worth seeing, with caveats.

that may work on your koresh-ian compound
but in my 20 years in the corporate world, i never saw this to be the case... not once
avg-to-ugly bkitches got where they were based solely on merit
hot bkitches were able to skate by with less

    This is SO true

and not just in the workplace

Being born with the genes to be a hot bkitch is like winning the lottery
Especially if they pack with C cup or better
The world caters to them in ALL cases

and the hot bkitch with brains? Deadly

Best be on high alert because she WILL get whatever she wants. Whatever she wants

I said they inspire great work.
I know i operate on a higher level when there are good looking women around.
    Not consciously though.
    Its why cheerleaders exist.
Rah rah works. Being inspired literally brings you a second wind.

Most always a good thing... so long as you don't ascribe to the theory "the closer to the bone the sweeter the meat"

I always was told that "more than a handful, with a mouthful left over, is just getting greedy".

and watermelon sized gourds are kinda gross

More than a handful is wasted is what I've heard.

    But flat is alittle boring.

My thing is big or small, it's how the whole package is put together.

BTW, I was referring to Irish's new smiley...not my breast philosophy in general.
