Ben Carson is one of the finest men of our generation. His religion is finding spiritual truth behind historical fact. Facts can and will always be used as a cudgel for evil by folks who act or think in beast mode. But you have to do your due diligence if you want to understand spiritual truth. You cant just wait for the news to tell you whats up from whats going on. Spiritual truth trains you to sieve factual truth from present truth in order to gleam prescient truth from the sound the river makes. That truth is literally more valuable than the factual gold in the river. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/caNtBzaFTjk
as you might not remember i have recently been tagged with the 'guy that takes things personally and emotionally' label by the man who we used to know affectionately as "craig the nice guy from SD" but other than that i was being on the level i never knew you stopped growing flower completely which why i made the flower comment i understand that the flood has come hard and ruined the market but its 80 percent mid level the 20 percent is way overpriced plus its a different thing grown for the thca numbers most of whats good will give poor lab numbers or wont pass so they cant sell it for premium and folks getting shortchanged on what gives the flower its color, smell and taste i thought maybe the answer to such problems could be had by taking advantage of innovative logistical solutions its an age old solution to an age old problem viva! part deux!! this time rated R R for MEMEMEMEEEMS jk, im too old for this sheet
Rewatching the first HBO True Detective last night...so good with Harrelson and Mconahey. And ' during one of Mconahey's dour, fatalistic raps, he basically generally pronounces people as "nothing more than sentient meat"...the scene goes on a little, and before it fades to black,..Harrelson asks him: " what the fuck is scented meat" ?
A solid show and many, many good things in it. But the relativism of the show's ethos was typical hollyweird horseshit. I took the first three & last three episodes as the best but the 'inserted biker, misread lawnmower man' element was contrived as the most insipid sitcom IMO. Still ... at its worst, it beats 90% of crime dramas ever made.
My favorite, too. It's difficult to be truly original with any genre of entertainment, I think. Unless it's so far out there, maybe 12 people get it. I thought the Jodie Foster/ Inuit one was pretty good and spooky, but if you dissect it, the core elements of a crime drama are all there, with the usual satellite stories and relationships, but presented in a different environment. And some unique characterizations. I'm looking for something really different, though this year...the second installment of a Dodger dynasty. Let's get it rollin'...
Oregon's state government controls the price of liquor Right? Everything should be MSRP, no secondary prices
sadly, no… Hard liquor is expensive in Oregon because the state operates a liquor control system, meaning the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) sets the price for all distilled spirits, which often results in higher prices compared to states with a more open market for alcohol sales; this includes high excise taxes on spirits, further contributing to the cost for consumers.
unfortunately no one hard liquor store per city and monitored heavily by the govt our nearest option is 15+ miles away bars can serve, but the costs are prohibitive and the clientele pretty unsavory
