I'd like 2 WRs as well..especially if they pass on Coop. if they do that, they at least have to come back and grab one of the dynamic slot types later like Lockett or Hardy or Titus Davis.

but yeah, that was the main thing in my mock..trying to get the needs taken care of..just kind of lucky that those are like the best players available at those points as well. Tre Jackson might be a bit of a stretch..i could see him falling to the top of the 4th round.

 

that'd be interesting if they did take him..here's a guy in DGB that pushed some lady down the stairs, but they wouldn't touch Greg Hardy because of his issue with hitting women.

 

Hey you remember all the posters from the Lakers board on ESPN? (I am assuming you posted there because you said your ESPN name was lakersdynasty) like Truth Tella, Dyjon, Lovedissgame,purplengoldsilvernblack, shaolinfighter, history2b, etc? I'm on a board will all of them and most of them are ready to go bat shit crazy with anger if the Lakers sign Kevin Love.

if Westbrook isn't in their plans..Julius Randle needs to be PF, not Love. only reason to sign Love, IMO, is if they deal for Westbrook during the draft and promise him that they'll get Love or if they sign Love in July with intentions of going hard after Westbrook a year or two later. those two are rumored to want to play together.

otherwise, go get a center to play next to Randle..Aldridge, Deandre Jordan, maybe Tyson Chandler as a last resort. Marc Gasol's not going anywhere.

 

None of those guys are going anywhere I guarantee it!!! We'll make it work with Love and Randle and the high draft pick HOPEFULLY

you get the idea. i would hate for them to sign Love without intentions of moving Randle and the other picks/assets for Westbrook. Love and Randle up front together?..nobody's protecting the basket.

 

Love and Randle CAN'T play together.

 

I've envisioned Randle playing a Lamar Odom type bench role.

 

i actually think they could...offensively. Love can play outside and Randle's mobile enough to move around.

defensively is where there's gonna be a problem. can't win anything if there's no D.

 

no way. not for the foreseeable future. Love would be signing a deal with intentions on staying a while. you can't just put Randle on the bench until Love retires or leaves. Randle has all-star potential. Odom was a long time vet when they moved him to the bench.

 

You know Lamar Odom played 30+ minutes a night in that role? It wouldn't hinder Randle at all. It's a super sub role. Lamar Odom was on the floor every night in crunch time.

 

OK, so then you're gonna sit Love in crunch time..good luck with that going over well in the locker room.

And Odom was a dynamite veteran defensive player..Pau wasn't a bad defender either early on in his tenure with the Lakers. There's just too much wrong with that comparison. You can't cripple Randle like that. Hell, that's devaluing an asset. Gotta trade Randle before you lock him into a sub role for the foreseeable future.

 

Randle at the 3 or Love at the 5, take your pick, either way you're screwed.

 

Love " anywhere ", you're screwed defensively.

 

i see a lot of analysts questioning Russell's ability to defend PGs, but we have Clarkson and they could play together..Clarkson could defend opposing PGs and Russell could take the 2 guard if need be. Mix and match.

 

Russell, Towns, Okafor, Mudiay, Winslow I'll be happy as fuck regardless of any other moves.
