supposedly, Philly REALLY wants DLo Russell.

 

throw Stanley Johnson in there. reminds me of a more athletic, young Ron Artest. way strong and skilled.

 

I bet, if Philly takes another big they should contract the franchise for stupidity.

 

he'd make the game a lot easier for Kobe next year. if they got Russell, kept Randle, and added Deandre Jordan..and Kobe was say a 20ppg scorer on 45%FG..i would feel OK about the playoff chances and that's without even knowing who the bench is other than say T.Black and J.Brown. i guess maybe they'd keep Young, but i don't know..i think they may have soured on him.

that may sound crazy, but Randle and Russell are mature players for their ages. Randle was the most NBA ready guy coming out other than Wiggins.

Goal should be going after Aldridge, who can play the 4 and 5. But if that falls through, Management sure as hell isn't saying no to Love.

 

If we don't get the top pick, I hope they pick 2 and us 3. Towns or Okafor, come on down, you're the next Laker

 

i agree. all that i ask is to deal Randle and the picks if they agree to take Love in. they'll know what Love wants to do ahead of time.

use all the assets and go out there and find a top notch guard on the market.

 

BTW, what got into Deron Williams in Game 4? Haha maybe he had enough of people questioning his heart.

if they get Love or Aldridge, and go after another star like Cousins. I can't think of anyone else besides him that might be available. Westbrook won't, in fact, if he gets traded I think that'll happen next off-season if Durant walks. I think they give that train one last ride.

 

quite possibly. i'm saying that if they sign Love..Westbrook needs to be in their plans. whether it happens in this year's draft, during next season, or after..he just needs to be in the plans. otherwise, it doesn't make sense to give up on Randle for the likes of Love. but if Westbrook communicates that " yes, i'll push OKC to deal me there if you get Love "..cool.

 

I can't see Randle's ceiling being above what Love/Aldridge already is, which is why I'd make that move. He's technically a small PF that didn't shoot well outside in college

i can. small PFs are what the game is shifting to. he improved his shooting quite a bit during the last camp and should keep improving there. most of all, his handle is tight, he's strong, and he's got touch around the basket. lots of creativity as well that should flourish in the NBA setting.

 

i should elaborate..i can't see Randle's ceiling being better than Aldridge's. doesn't mean it won't, but i can't see it yet. he is more mobile and a better ball handler, though.

but i do think Randle's ceiling can match Love's

 

I don't think Randle can be as good as Aldridge, but he can be as good as Love. now and ceiling wise.
