Grizz only hungrier after seeing the Clips take control in the other series. they know they can whip the Clips' ass and get to the Finals.

 

Conley just has to play 25-30 minutes and i think they have it. i don't like that the Warriors have nobody that they can go to in the post. it's hard for jump shooting teams to beat good defensive teams when those jump shooting teams lack an interior threat.

you look at all the jump shooting teams that have won championships and they all had at least 1 guy that they could go to in the post and play inside-out, draw double teams, etc. Spurs with Duncan, Mavs with Dirk, Rockets with Hakeem, etc.

As much as I hate the Pats, this is a small price to pay for another SB on their shelf. All of this was out in the open PRIOR to the Super Bowl AND 2015 draft. The hammer waited until after that to announce the fines/suspensions. If Roger really cared about the integrity of the game, he would have suspended Brady AND Belicheat for the SB, taken this years first round pick at the draft, and fines them 1M.

All of the fines that have been handed to the Pats ever since they got caught filming from the wrong area are a small price to pay in the grand scheme of things. Too bad Brady's legecy will have this hanging off to the side moving forward.

 

I'm not sure if deflating the football would've made a difference in that AFC game considering how bad the Colts lost, BUT what Patriot supporters are forgetting is that this was probably going on for awhile. How many close games during the push for the playoffs might have been affected by this? A fumble here, an interception there. Who knows.

So now this team has two cheating scandals...Deflategate and Videotape Gate. Coincidentally, the Patriots were wining playoff games and titles before they got caught in Videotape Gate. Then they kinda get into a lull. Then they win a Superbowl during Deflategate. Hmmm.

That being said, the Patriots won this year because of a bone-headed play call at the end by the Seahawks. They shouldnt take a SB away from them on this.

BUT, Brady shoils have gotten 6 games. Essentially make Brady a non-factor this coming season. The loss of draft picks to me have to be harsher. There's something institutionally wrong with the Patriots and cheating...they need to punish the institution more.

 

No it isn't. The deflated balls had no effect on the outcome of that game (Meaning AFC title game). Losing a 1st and a 4th, plus a 1 million dollar fine, is unfounded and excessive. With that punishment Roger Goodell just basically said it is worse to deflate a few footballs a little bit than to attempt to intentionally injure players (Bountygate).

 

It has nothing to do with that one game.
