    The only team in LA that was ours from day one is the Kings.



    Soccer doesn't count.

    Nor did the LA Express or LA Cobras.

    Soccer counts man 5 MLS titles are no joke. What about the Sparks? Not my cup of tea but it's a true world title more than the MLS now that I think about it.

    of the available teams, i'll take the team with the best head coach/QB combination..which might be Harbaugh/Carr in a couple weeks. i just want the team to win..don't give a damn about their origins. they could be from Kalamazoo and be called the Jeters for all i care.

    Although it's college, UCLA and USC are true LA teams. I personally love how the only talk of football in Los Angeles revolves around USC/UCLA. It makes the rivalry that much better cause theres not a big brother football team to dominate football talk. USC obviously dominates college football talk in Los Angeles but I still personally enjoy that UCLA/USC football is the football talk in LA.

    In a way, I feel as if since a lot is focused on UCLA/USC football and basketball, it also gives attention to the other sports they have as well. It's cool

    Yep & for those of you old enough to remember, USC/UCLA was a bigger story when the Rams and Raiders were here. When the NFL returns, college football will continue to dominate.

    I hope so. I just feel like the NFL is so large now and everyone wants NFL to dominate its headlines that I have a fear that LA would only care about the NFL, at least in media terms. Which I guess shouldn't matter much but yeah

    There will always be attendance of 65K-75K for USC/UCLA football. Don't get me wrong the NFL will get the attention from the media, but the city LOVES USC/UCLA. Always have...

    supposedly, the NFL is planning to move the league office to LA, so yea..the NFL is gonna be big in LA

    You want a CRAZY great game? The Bahamas Bowl today featured CMU vs. WKU.

    WKU was up 49-14 at the start of the 4th qaurter. CMU gets the ball back at about their 25 yard line with 1 second left and trailing 42-49. After a number of laterals, they score making it 48-49. They go for the win on a 2-point conversion but fail and lose.

    If ESPN shows this game again late tonight, I'm watching. That is ridiculous!

    I wouldn't watch the whole thing, it was boring as hell. Maybe the second half was better but I gave up on it by then.

    I picked them in ESPN college bowl mania. 8-1 so far. Fucking bkitch SDSU kicker missed a game winning 34 yard field goal after the dumb ass coach chose to throw two pass plays instead of running it and centering it in the middle of the field and then the dumb ass earlier in the game went for it in the red zone up 2 on 4th and 5 instead of kicking a FG there to go up 5 and they ended up losing by 1. By far the worst college game I've seen this year. Horribly played by two terrible teams (Navy and SDSU).
