    A radio host believes USC will make a big splash at head coach for next season?
    When the 2015 college football season is over, the USC Trojans will have the task of hiring a new coach to lead the team in seasons to come. While it may be in the best position of any program that is currently looking for a permanent leader, there are still plenty of questions about who it may be.

    One prominent radio host, FOX Sports’ Colin Cowherd, thinks it’s going to be a huge name and is going to break the bank to bring that person in:

    So I was told last night the reason the USC job opening – that you’ve heard no names for – is that it is such a big name, and I know what the name is – it is such a big name, that that person has said “If I hear anything, I’m out.” That’s the story.

    I didn’t say I had it confirmed, I’m just telling you that the name I heard is so big and they are loading up the Brinks truck and they’re going to pay what they’ve never paid – double Pete Carroll. But that person has said “If I sniff a thing, I’m not interested.”

    Are we talking Jon Gruden? Maybe Nick Saban? How about bringing Chip Kelly back to the Pac-12 from the NFL? Stay tuned

    they looked great in that 2nd half against colorado last week
    they're not that far away...

    USC consistently has the most talent but coaching and sanctions have really held us back. This next coach hire is crucial.

    UCLA is good but injuries and Freshman QB (albeit a good one) probably held them back this year.

    Still something to be accomplished though for both teams.

    The clue is that they would pay twice what Carroll makes.
    Carroll made 4M with USC... but he makes twice that already with the Seahawks.
    So what if they throw 16M at Pete Carroll to come back home and be both the Coach and the Athletic Director?
    Pete Carroll is the clue.

    No....I think the defensive losses early in the seasom doomed UCLA. They could not stop anyone. The Washington State game was a clear example of that.

    Fuck that washington State game. Defense was fine, except the shitty pac 12 refs allowed Washington State to hold all game and also gave Washington State two free touchdowns because of them reversing Ish being down gIving them one touchdown, and the other becaused they allowed Wazzu's RT to mug Deon Hollins and their receiver to push off but they called defensive PI instead because the back judge had his head up his own ass.
