Been seeing some talk about LAL/PHX swapping the #2 pick and Clarkson for the #4 pick and Devin Booker, I wouldn't be mad at that.
Come away with Booker and maybe either Bender or Jaylen Brown

I would hate that so much. So many problems with that. Talent drop off between two and four is so big It is not worth it. Plus Clarkson would have to say yes and why would he, he wouldn't fit with Bledsoe or Knight and Phoenix blows. Booker is good, but I'd take Clarkson and Simmons or Ingram over Booker and Bender or Dunn or Buddy or Jaylen . I saw a rumor that Batum was going to re-sign with Charlotte as soon as free agency started and Washington was going to max out (at least offer) Beal and if they do that it means they match any offer.

 

Beal would be great but 0 chance of that happening

Still would like DeRozan but who fucking knows on that with recent rumors on his front

I'll believe the FA stuff when the signings are official, Beal could ultimately be traded and Batum could be looking for leverage, both are likely at the top of everyone's wish lists regardless.
Worrying about a Clarkson's fit with Knight and Bledsoe is short-sighted, players get moved, PHX for one is always in a constant state of major personnel restructuring, just had Dragic a sec ago as well as the Morris twins.
That's how it goes and it should be even crazier with so much cap space and opportunity around the league now and in the coming seasons.
Dragan Bender is more advanced than Porzingis was at 18, I slept on Porzingis, won't again.
Don't think LAL will either since they considered taking Porzingis over Russell/Okafor.
Derozan and Harrison Barnes should be like last resort options

 

Beal is injury prone
And will need to be on a minutes restriction
I wouldnt max him out
Good young player indeed, just comes with lots of concern

 

Beal's not even 23 yet, DC and plenty other teams will gladly take the risk

 

Don't really expect Jeanie to come out and say " yes, Phil will be coming to LA after next season ", so I don't get all the fuss over her comments.
But if the comments can halt all the Phil to LAL talk for a while, good enough.
