    His entire career is a mystery to me. He would just pipe the same pitch right down the middle for 5 years and guys would whiff. They ain't whiffing anymore.

    The fact that it's never a single but a towering HR every damn time shows how he's completely useless on any given night. It's batting practice.

    It's a tick or two slower and that seems to make a huge difference. But the bigger problem is control. I knew he was in trouble the minute he let loose a few horrible looking pitches. It meant he was going to pipe one down in no doubt territory and batters know this now.

    At that point, it becomes batting practice as you say. Wait for the pitch you know is coming, then BANG.

    Kershaw doesn't deserve shit, imo.
    SP wins are irrelevant. He will make 30 million dollars per year and end up in the Hall of Fame regardless of what the offense produces.
    I think we deserve better than Kershaw, at least in the postseason.
    Harsh, yes.
    I just don't understand why any individual player deserves better.
    They are failing as a team.
