Maybe the ugliest rally in Dodger history. Very Giant like.
Thank God the NL West is a total shit show
glanced at the phone and we won yay
these are the kind of games we need to grind on
fuck yeah idc how we won we won and thats incredible considering how lost we looked
Paulie Walnuts...nice to hear from you again.
I'm trying to minimize the effort and results from the hateful, bad team mate, ex fatso, cancer in the clubhouse, old ( definitely worse than any other of the adjectives), shitty guy Matt Kemp.
But it's kinda difficult.
It seems like he is contributing and doing very well for us.
But I'm sure he is being a douchy clubhouse guy and causing problems.
Yeah, that's it.
Fuck being clutch.
FWUCKTARD genius in display.... Lack of pussy make you brave!!!!
Might be you're just cranky...
Need wins like the one from last night throughout the season. They're ugly, but necessary and it seemed like we were missing out on those opportunities thus far. Nice to see a couple of things go our way and the crowd was in to it too. Hopefully the team can really rally around a win like that and get the bats going with some more consistency.
Does anyone have an opinion, or even a bit of real info about what the approach with Joc Pederson has been?
Now I'm not complaining about the kid at all...we all have read ad infinitum about his morbidly obese 300 pound gluttonous eating habits, his inability to run any more, etc., etc. Y'know, the kid that threw perfectly to home the other day.
But here was a kid, and I remember the novenas that went up en masse to the heavens when we wanted/needed him, day after day, who gave us real long ball ability. Saint Peder. Son.
So the kid came up and hit the damn ball 465 feet sometimes...now, his power is gone, baby gone. Who knows where ? But tape measure jobs regularly.
What was the plan with this kid? He's an OK player now, and I never hated him...but what have they made of this guy who was a light tower power type hitter once?
Especially in the high launch angle environment of MLB these days...don't get the approach overall on this kid.
But it is the fucking Dodgers.
I wonder if this is in store for Bellinger soon ?
When Jacques came up he supposed to be this combination of power and speed and a great glove in the outfield.
Well, the speed never materialized in MLB, the power has been short lived and his range in the outfield is diminished.
Like Puig, I think he'll always be an enigma in need of an enema (mildly homo). The only constant with either one is their inconsistency.
I appreciate the response, but what you wrote is what we have now...all true. We all see it now...but it's looking at a different player...with a totally different skill set. A different guy. Joc didn't do this all himself, let's face it.
But where does power go? He's not a big strong kid anymore? Is it not the result of grotesquely overdone tinkering with his stance, swing, approach, etc. ?
Too many Ks...is that why? not enough contact?
Then where is a whiff machine like Bellinger headed then? On the LAD, anyway?
Well, it was good to have Maeda sharp for two games, anyway.
The Divine Wind.
Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends, we're so glad you could attend come inside come inside.....
...... after paying $30 to park and $8 to eat a shitty fucking hot dog.
This inning is stupid. weak chopper ground ball turns into infield hit, another grounder hops over Forsythe's glove and they get 2 runs out of it that they didn't fucking deserve. Such BS
Forsythe can suck it long and hard with the best of them, and the Phillies are a parade of one ugly motherfucker after another.
The first sentence reads like a Beatles lyric...will you stay and see the show tonight for the benefit of Mr. Kite?
Separate names with a comma.
