The pathag win fucker-upper is in
Kike in as defensive for Belli?
guess its a double switch in advance of Kelly giving up 8
.338 opponents average against. PUTRID. I think they may have to give vouchers away for Joe's bobblehead day.
Best case scenario is Kelly pitches on his Bobblehead Day and fans start throwing the bobbleheads onto the field
so i'm the only one still thinking Kelly is going to be big for us?
imo his stuff looks nasty in a good way
You might be the sole occupant on Fantasy Island on that one. Hope you're right.
Sure threw a lot of breaking pitches for a guy who throws in the upper 90s.
It would be great if Kelly did figure it out, like found money as far as a playoff contributor.
He did look good and even showed a good curveball but he's teased us with effectiveness before.
If Kelly finishes the season with an ERA of 4 or lower, and doesn't blow an LDS or LCS game, I will put a lien on everything I own, take out ten loans, and get DSP a suite for the World Series. That is how confident I am that he will not turn it around.
When I go alone I usually park for free over by the Police Academy down the hill. I broke down and paid $25 for parking today because it was littered with garbage, needles, bottles of urine, etc.
I'm gonna start parking at your place and taking a shuttle
I'm saving this post, just in case.
I don't have any faith in Kelly either, but hey, World Series suite? sign me up.
Bases loaded, Game 162. 4.00 ERA...
I might be rooting for the grand slam.
Bryce Harper can eat a dick
Probably don't have to tell him twice
I love Kelly. Guy is nails.
Did you see?
I'm not going to scoff at Harper's on-base percentage and slugging percentage. But for 300 million dollars, I want somebody who doesn't strike out 30% of the time and play shit defense. Looks like we dodged a bullet. He is really good and capable of meeting $ per WAR most years to justify the cost..plus he's a marketing tool...but 2015 was clearly an anomaly. We have enough guys who can put up similar numbers to what Bryce does on average.
Glad Roberts took advantage of the opportunity to walk the #8 hitter and get Pivetta out of the game.
Dodgers weren't laying a glove on him. Bellinger's two ABs against him were as bad a consecutive ABs as he's had this year.
" They did not prepare for Pivetta"...
Above 20 games over .500 in very early June might lull a team into a false sense of security...but all's well that ends well.
