She speaks with split tongue, too...too much pipe smoke for you, I think.

    Yeah show me.

I'm not seeing it. No impartial evidence that I've seen supports your view. None.

She's the ONLY one standing up for consumers with the CFPB
Why in the hell are the other 534 NOT looking out for consumers?

OK the GOP openly says Fuck Americans, all money and power belongs to corporations
large enough to shelter billions offshore so as to never pay taxes
    on the services they consume

but where are the other whiny Dems?

also paid off... but by liberal corporations
thus they too display zero ethics nor concern for Americans

I'm not going to have a running back and forth with you, as you had before with Irish and Rube for instance...but my initial reaction to your response is...lol.
She is just as fucked up as anyone else you are going at...and a man of your intelligence actually elevating the likes of her to the status you have is as much a mystery as Utley's trance-like state on strike three lately.
But Warren? You mean the one that registered herself as a " person of color" , being Cherokee...when she's not at all? And when questioned about how she registered, refused outright to show the forms? Check with the Cherokee Tribal Council...see what they think about that fraud.
Warren? The one that made a shitload of money on foreclosures while defending "the people" as the mortgage fraud czarina?
Liz? The one that practiced law without a license? Lol
Warren? The one that defended Traveler's Ins.Co., and refused to release the money to the workers ( your people, right?) who were dropping like flies with asbestos poisoning? And most sickening of all about her, justified it with " it was insurance company against insurance company". Fucking evil, man... That Elizabeth Warren?
I could go on, but with all due respect, based on past skirmishes I've read with others, I think once you've made up your mind, it stays so.
And I don't have need to be right surely, but responded because you sort of requested it. I'm not defending he "other side", believe me...it's not a comparison thing at all. But in essence, she rises above no one, but wallows comfortably with all the other bottom feeders, whether it be a D or an R after their name.
But a false idol is a false idol, from whichever way it comes.
As I wrote, she speaks with a split tongue.

An extra "like" from me on your last paragraph.
    Good show.

Thank you for your reasoned reply. I'm too tired of all things fetid politics (wrong thread). My mind is not so made up, I just keep reading news from many sources and ALL confirm that she is the one promoting the CFPB. That is important.

I too am in full agreement with most everything you're saying.. and yet still she gets elevated because she is the only one even bothering to make an effort to speak out in favor of citizens rights.

I had no idea about the attorney part but with your prompting above I've now read she's been an attorney in Texas and New Jersey, and submitted briefs to federal courts. And that some other attorney has claimed she used the wrong address on a Supreme court filing. Maybe. The Supreme court didn't think it was an issue but this other MA. lawyer sure does. I'm no lawyer but the internet shows that lots of attorneys have since weighed in on this on both sides and they say filing a brief is not practicing law, teaching law is not practicing law and she's still there so ?? I dunno. I don't care that much but you're claims appear with some bias as well. It's all good.

Still BZ, we agree, she's a Senator, a politican, liberal arts law professor, apparently an attorney and likely guilty of everything else you say. I'm not going to look it all up to debate

She's still the only one arguing for the CFPB to corral banks and insurance companies. Fact. Why is that? Where the fuck is Dem libtard sellout from CA Feinstein? Obviously too busy funneling coin to her hubby? Where is the CFPB support from YOUR Senator BZ?

The CFPB is the agency that caught Wells Fargo churning accounts costing 2 million+ account holders.

My disgust is DC being run openly by corporations and the GOP Chamber of Commerce. All 535 are are guilty to one degree or another of sucking at the corporate tit for funding. Got to get the money out of politics, put the ethics back in.

My senator is the biggest scumbag walking, but he is Hispanic, so he gets many a pass, on many a trespass, so what does it mean then? I'm responsible for what this scumbag does because I'm a Jersey boy ?
Shoo be do bop do wah...
But he did tell my mom she was beautiful and looked great and would never take her for her age at the time...so guess who my mom voted for?
We're all going to hell in a handbasket Cap'n, so I shoot for what that guy from Liverpool used to sing, " A working class hero is something to be".
    That's all.

but ever since trump won she's lost her shit
lost a lot of respect for her

    you're not wrong
and they all possess an ivory tower mentality
wasn't praising her by any means
was just giving her a brief snippet of credit to put into perspective how far she's she fallen
and to be fair o'reilly & co are just as bad

Sure, I hate this one, so I hate that one. I like that one so I hate this one.
Sides, we all take them, and there's always two. Maybe more sometimes.
But the fact that we can even have the two, listen to the two, although camouflaged beneath our partisan ideaologies so much of the time, is what we should never lose as sight of, and is, or at least was, our greatest strength.

This is exactly the reason politics, and really this country is getting so ugly lately.
My guys are the good guys and the other guys are bad guys with bad intentions rather that than different approaches to the same goals.
So many's choices are blinded by a left-right set of talking points and positions with no room for understanding the other point of view, or the complexity of many choices. So many that see "no-brainer" choices out there.

(besides, you're all hopeless statists anyway :D)

I think a big part of the problem is that many of the issues are artificially diluted down to just two sides (or one side with the illusion of two) by our political system and the media.
Most things have rooms for lots of different perspectives.

Not to agree with your anti-statist rant but ... it's all an illusion, queue Styx a Grand Illusion

and we all see different dysfunctional sides.

Just because the entire country pushed to retain a free internet three years ago like most of the rest of the free world doesn't mean that Trump and his band of craven Idiots is not doing everything they can to make our lives worse. Just another in a long list of cancerous actions

Oh goodie now we'll all have to pay more for faster access and lose it any time we search for a subject Trump's Idiot's think is unsavory, such as watching NetFlix

Trump signed 90 executive actions in his first 100 days

I know this is a sensitive issue but shining a light is better than living in darkness.

    http://www.businessinsider.com/trum...-april-28-designating-days-weeks-and-months-3

Wow what a flurry of paperwork, most amounting to very little but posturing. Of course a politician is expected to posture so there'e that but Trump has support of BOTH houses of Congress so we shouldn't be reading nonsense about ceremonial proclamations of "Jewish American Heritage Month" and "Older American's Month" WTF? This is NOT why you are in office.

Trump ordered his administration, led by Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, to review where the US could allow offshore energy development, revoking rules put into place after the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010, and putting Arctic drilling back on the table.

Because permitting foreign oil companies to ruin our own country and coastline is very important to #feedcorporations recklessly again. He cares not at all about massive oil spills. Why should he? "We" aren't paying to do so whereas BP and Big Oil are now his (paying) lobbying buds.

Since Defense was already Item #1 in the budget adding an 'extra' 10% is a heck of a lot of money

Don't mind vets getting more assistance but pillaging everything else to do so is silly. Of course examination by % is nearly equally as silly but the amounts in Billions tends to make people glaze over.. too many zeros

Still our Defense spending is larger than countries #2-#7 combined so of course we need to spent 10% more for more warmongering.
