Everytime this happens I get the feeling that someone is trying to distract the kid inside of us while some boring Senator from far away in the middle of nowhere but strangely incredibly important land of Naboo is making a long winded courtroom drama esque monologue in front of the united republican senate which he wishes to subvert and convince into dropping the mask of democracy and putting on the full armor of empire.

But its the first week of the month and this is some decent shit so excuse me while I kiss the skywalker up on high and i apologize if i sound a little lost in the purple side of the farce.

I'm disappointed in Trump. He's a smart guy, but it didn't show last night. Kamala came in with a rehearsed gameplan - to ignore the questions that she didn't have answers for, to provide a little fluff for the voters, and to try to get Trump off track. And I think she achieved all three. She gave us nothing of substance to change our minds that she would be a terrible leader, yet she came out of the debate looking better than when she went in. And that's on Trump. He had so many opportunities to call her out for evading questions, yet instead he stubbornly used his time to sling mud and brag. Case in point, the very first question was directed to Kamala: "Do you believe Americans are better off than four years ago?" She didn't answer it, instead giving generalities of what she will do if elected president. Trump's turn to talk, he should've been all over that, starting with, "It's funny that my opponent chose to not answer that question, because she's aware that Americans are far worse off due to the current administration," and then provided a few facts to support that statement. Instead, he used his time to go on a tangent. Like I said, he had golden opportunities to bury her, and he missed them all, and I think that's because she got in his head and he's too stubborn to not take the bait.

And I swear, if I hear one more, "she knows it's true, they know it's true, everyone knows it's true"..., I'm going to throw my TV out the window. Doesn't he listen to his debate advisors?
