And he only played 77 games this year.

.185 ISO is still a really good figure.

Dodgers lead the league in homers. Do they really "need the power threat?"

I don't really think Puig is a "home run hitter" anyways.

The guy just posted his ISO numbers from 2014 and 2015. Accept them and lets move on.

Yeah, I'll take 20HR pop, particularly in today's game. Not sure if he should be in the box against these righties that are comin, but hey at least he has the arm and wheels for run prevention in right.

B2B please don't start with me again. You instigate for the fun of it. You've behaved thus far, but don't push it.

No, don't you get pissy because you refuse to accept what's presented to you.

No it's your constant desire to sound like some cool-azz faker tough guy on an Internet board.

You have a long record of it, so don't go off like you don't know your reputation here.

There is a reason you change your handle more than your underwear......or maybe you don't.

Cool story, but it was you who was lost in translation. Nobody else. Now, you can turn this into something else if you like, but facts are facts. Puig's drop off in power was not more pronounced this year. This year mirrored 2014. We could've moved past this already, but you refused to accept what was presented.

I'd prefer Ruggiano on the roster over Puig tbh. Would love to see a %100 healthy Puig but I doubt that he is %100. Also, you can't just throw the guy in the lineup and expect him to do well against Harvey/Degrom/Syndergaard. Hell, I think he'd even struggle against Matz if they trot him out in a possible game 4.

He might be intriguing as a PH but not if he takes the spot of a Ruggiano. Maybe over SVS sure but I definitely think Ruggiano has some solid at bats and can come off the bench vs LHP

Give em' a try out in the SD series and see if he is healthy and could be an asset as a PH. Also his arm in RF is an asset if he is healthy and effective.

It did go down significantly. ISO is not the Be All or End All of power numbers, and you can't get past that either. It's just slugging percentage minus average.....it's theoretical at best.

When Puig came off the disabled the first time in June of this year, he was hitting .286 but had only 3.....YES.....3 home runs at that time. By far his worst string.

If you can't acknowledge that, that's your problem too.

You don't want to debate.....all you want to do is put people down that you don't agree with.

No, dude. It's " HR total " that's not the be all-end all.

You don't want to debate at all. You wanna talk about reputation, underwear, my handles, whine, and use cop outs.

Maybe that is just what he is. But it seems to be more than that. He has all the tools to generate those HRs. But something seems off.

The other thing to note is the Dodgers hit a lot of HR early in the season, especially with Joc and Gonzo on fire. Joc has virtually disappeared, so I'm wondering at what clip we're hitting now.

No, that's what I'm doing. Your just inciting and the problem is, and has always been, that you don't even realize it.

Why is it you always change your handle?

    Whatever.

The situation is Puig is coming off the DL with ZERO plate appearances in live games into a playoff situation facing possibly some of the best pitching in the league. I rate his chance of success some where between SLIM and NONE. If I had a vote he wouldn't be on the roster unless there were no other options.

What I did was explain 96's response to your initial post. Nothing more.

I find your cop outs pretty funny though...aren't you the guy that was chasing 96 around the forum the other night, baiting him? Yeah, that was you jumping from one thread to another, baiting.

Because boredom and because why not

It's not even worth it. The end point here is him calling you a homer and pouting.

I really hope they don't fall victim to the bullshit and see Utley off. They don't need that dude anymore.

I have hope only because it looks like they've benched Rollins...finally.
