I'm truly hoping MadBum also falls on his face today. Probably won't happen against the Reds, but 1.5 back would be nice especially with the Gnats going up against the Nats without Bum pitching in that series.
was about to say roberts playing the veteran favoritism i'd get it if aj was at least hitting his weight (he's 40 lbs shy) but how are they to gauge barnes' capabilities if he doesn't play? lame
Dodger management got a damn good look at Archer last night. Most of the people here liked what we saw from him. Now the question is will the management that has spent $$$$$ so freely recently will pay what Archer is asking. And if Moore pitches well tonight, that could be some more shit thrown in the game. Archer is the better of the 2 in my opinion. This team needs more pitching for sure, and maybe even 1 more bat. Team has played well since CK s injury and having McCarthy back makes me feel better about our post-season chances.
Maybe McCarthy prefers to pitch to AJ who knows but I don't think Barnes is thought of as a catcher I don't think you audition Barnes at this time but hey I could be wrong.
game plan seems to be to swing early in the count, either cause thats a good approach against Moore or cause they wanna get on with the game already
Yup, OPS over .900 against lefties this year and has been great in his career. Problem is that seems like there hasn't been many lefty starters they've faced and it seems like he's worse cause he's been brutal against righties
Helped by Adrian, Corey, and JT struggling against LHP to varying degrees. Had to get SVS's bat up near the top..now will he cash it in is the question..
