Not exactly an offensive deluge these two games. Wow. Barely there at all. Get one semi bad pitching turn ( and McCarthy's was for sure), with bats like this...not a chance in hell. Unless we get really lucky, like last night, and they throw the ball all around. At least we had Grandal and timely hits, but today looks pitiful so far.
Maybe they're gassed after their run, and a 12:00 game was just too early to recover. I dunno. Hope the ginger man can get something started.

The Giants have a sell out today. Gorgeous full stadium on a Wednesday afternoon. We are playing to an empty stadium. Something needs to change with our culture and stadia.
Can't we sub out Ellis here? What is he contributing now with a bunch or relievers coming up? His bat is useless and we need runs.
Ehh, it's been hot lately in the Bay Area, the stadium is nice and next to the ocean, accessible by CalTrain and Muni. I'm not shocked. LA is baking and Dodger Stadium doesn't exactly provide relief, and getting there is a pain. I get it.
I understand all that. All these small, retro ballparks near downtown and public transit are easily accessible and easy to fill.
Strength of schedule my ass. Split against Tampa and lose a series to AZ. Unacceptable. Gotta beat these teams.
