    So if we finish the sweep, beat SF 2/3, and STL loses their series to CIN, do we play a one game playoff here or in St Jewis? edit: made a mistake. magic number is already at 2.

    Dodger stadium, but under your scenario we are eliminated. We need to sweep and cards only win a max of one game, or have the cards get swept and we lose a Max of one game

    If we win 2/3 and the Cards lose 2/3, we'd still be 1 GB. We need to sweep or hope the Cards get swept.

    Game 1 in SD and Victorino not getting the winning run in against STL in game 4 of that series unfortunately is really holding up. The Dodgers haven't been able to do quite enough.

    The fact is that AGon and Victorino not doing what we brought them over to do for about three weeks is what killed us. We win any four of those and we are not scoreboard watching as much.

    The whole offense killed us.For a long time. We've actually been under .500 since April.

    I'm just saying right when we thought it was all but over in SD, it turns out if we could've just scored a couple runs, we could be 1 huge game closer in the standings. Victorino not getting the run in from 3B..that would've given us sole position of the WC. 2 game swing. Those jus are the most recent of failed opportunities we've had for a long time.

    It would be a miracle for us to get in the playoffs. But my fingers are crossed.

    The road to the division series means a 10-11 game winning streak dating back to game 2 in SD

    Its not abut the money, its about giving a long contract to an overhyoed #2 that hasnt proover the can be consistent over a full season... Let Boston have him to fill their disaster rotation along with Dice-K and Lackey...
