wouldn't even surprise me if Hanley tried to play with a broken bone in his knee..he'll do whatever it takes to look reliable and worthy of a new contract

I thought Hanley fouled the ball off and above his knee not on the actual knee??

I hope he is good to go cause I want to see him healthy along with Kemp, Dee and Turner who we didn't have last post-season

nah, the slo-mo showed the ball go off the inner part of his knee and it probably caught some of his kneecap as well. that's painful stuff.

like i said tho, it wouldn't surprise me if Hanley did all he could to not have a MRI done because he wants to show that he's reliable. i assume that the team would like to know if he's healthy just to be informed..if he wants to play injured and can do so without being any worse in the field they'd probably let him being that they likely have no long term plans to keep him anyway.

I want to see Uribe bat himself cleanup today...

    Dodgers shake up coaching staff
By Dan Arritt | Special to ESPNLosAngeles.com
    Updated: September 27, 2014, 9:06 PM ET

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Dodgers are taking things lightly as they wind down the regular season in preparation for the start of the playoffs next week.

They showed up to the clubhouse later than usual Saturday afternoon, skipped batting practice prior to their game against the Colorado Rockies, and then came word from Dodgers manager Don Mattingly that he'll step aside for Sunday's regular-season finale and let Juan Uribe manage the team.

That's right, the playful third baseman for the Dodgers will call the shots from the dugout, giving Mattingly an extra day to ponder his postseason roster and collect notes on his still-to-be-determined opponent for Friday's NL Division Series opener.

Joe Torre made a similar move when he managed the Dodgers in 2009, allowing backup catcher Brad Ausmus to manage the final regular-season game, a 5-3 win against the Rockies that followed L.A.'s NL West-clinching victory the night before.

Uribe's managerial debut won't be the only coaching staff adjustment.

Dodgers pitching coach Rick Honeycutt will also hand his clipboard to two-time Cy Young winner Clayton Kershaw, who should have it easy with fellow Cy Young winner Zack Greinke scheduled to start.

Kershaw's likely feeling restless since he hasn't pitched since last Wednesday's NL West-clinching victory against the San Francisco Giants, and isn't scheduled to appear again until Friday's playoff opener, a gap of nine days. He's scheduled to throw a simulated game prior to Sunday's game, however.

No word on where Uribe plans to bat himself in the lineup.

No Dum Dum? Dodgers should win but JP would make a better pitching coach.

Uribe wearing Mattingly's jersey, Hanley wearing Wallach's jersey, Wonder if Kershaw is wearing Honeycutt's.

This game means nothing, so I'd rather just watch the Chargers, but I kinda wanna see Clayton go out and talk to Zack if he's having problems, and I wanna see Uribe take Zack out of the game.

    Just for shits and giggles.
