Why would we trade our best hitter?
Tonight was Kershaw’s 52nd career game with double-digit strikeouts, the most in the Majors since his debut in 2008.
Forsythe with a broken toe?
Well, it was a good run, fellas..he said knowing full well the LAD survived over 2 months without Kershaw last season.
Still sucks, but totally predictable..durability was Forsythe´s one clear weakness.
Chase Utley doesn´t need toes..
Shoeless Joe Jackson??
Nothing on Toeless Chase Utley..
Now watch Utley play God while Forsythe is out.
Toeless Chase Utley?
A man must learn to love himself.
Alwzys got a shot for sure with Kersh on the hill...it's just when the other four go out there, not so much at all.
Not to take away anything from a W from a LH, but the meager runs CK allows, against another, better pitching opponent, considering the lineup lately, may simply not be enough.
Maeda will be getting his extra day of rest, so perhaps we will get a good turn out of him instead of his usual run per inning thing.
So Kershaw was really pissed off at the Rox starter last night ...
"And, as if to stoke the competitive fire of the most competitive pitcher in the game, the Colorado Rockies got Clayton Kershaw good and angry before the game. He was atop the mound, ready to start the first inning, and he could not.
Tyler Anderson, the Rockies’ pitcher, was walking along the first-base line, from the visitors’ bullpen beyond right field, toward the Colorado dugout. Kershaw had to wait, breathing fire all the time.
“That was one of the more disrespectful things I’ve been a part of in the game,” Kershaw said. “I really didn’t appreciate that. The game starts at 7:10. It’s started at 7:10 here for a long time.”"
Yep. That's what a Dodger player should sound like, and I just wish this team had 25 guys who thought and spoke like Clayton does. His talent is exceptional, but it's his mindset that's even more impressive to me.
Game might have been won in the first inning when CK pitched himself out of the bases loaded jam.
You heard it here 1st
I'm telling ya, this guy has to do every damn thing.
You don't expect the kids or guys just up to say anything, but there are plenty of veterans on this team who could opine.
No shortage when it comes to bullshit about the WBC though.
...and now all is forgiven?

LOL as if you knew
(reading the comments the next morning can be hilarious)
Eibner looked bad but it would be cool if Chris Taylor could hit a bit. With Logan down, we'd need him
I agree on both points
OT: I have a population explosion solution - every mook who calls DodgerTalk after a loss with a trade request should be spayed/neutered. Or maybe just slain outright.
Who's with me?
Planned Parenthood already has that covered
Utley is piling up unconfirmed, improbable stories faster than Bill Brasky.
