It kills me that Bum Bum has the chance to be called a post season clutch stud....pitching lights out, and on short rest. He'll be remembered if they win this. While we had a historic season with Kershaw upended by what can be charitably called a complete and utter meltdown in the post season. Koufax-esque? My ass.....not until Kershaw proves to be a workhorse and tough as nails in the playoffs....the games that matter. Right now, it's looking like Bum has that title. I'm truly hoping that the Royals break through and finish this.
so Bumgarner is doin some shit that hasn't been done in 100 years and that makes Kershaw, who's struggled with 1 team in his career, a joke and not a real ace.. Look, I like Kershaw as much as anybody else. But aces are supposed to step up their game in the post season. Kershaw has had multiple opportunities and not done it. Bumgarner's post season stats have been ridiculous. And now he is doing it on 2 days rest after CK shit the bed twice with people saying he was tired pitching on 3 days rest Big fuck up in the outfield Still a chance
