    ^Baseball is losing popularity with youth because of shit like this...claiming copyright on anything put on the internet. Kids are all on NBA star's jocks because the NBA doesn't take down the videos posted on youtube and stuff.

    MLB has zero videos on youtube, which is pretty much free publicity imo

    That's not why. Baseball is losing popularity because of parent politics ranging from tee ball all the way through high school. Maybe even college. It's ridiculous, out of control, and idk why parents do it or coaches put up with it.

    A lot of it also is that baseball is losing popularity with minorities because a lot of the better players are either white or are foreign to the US.

    It probably is; but a lot of my friends play basketball and football and have far less negative experiences than a lot of my baseball buddies.
