And that close to advancing
Scherzer off the hook..until his next choke job
Is it safe to say: Corbin in Game 1, Stras in Game 2, Scherzer in Game 3?
Ernie got to call a good one. Can thank his BFF Teddy T.
I'll take Ernie any day of the week over the condescending Joe Buck.
Not great for us lol
Gotta get to the pen and hope Rendon and Soto don’t kill us cuz their pen and hitters that aren’t the top 4 aren’t very good
Hey, DC ... Maeda says ....
Sounds about right.
Dear god..Scherzer VS Kershaw in Game 3 Lol The Choke Masters..winner gets a green jacket
Could've used a Kevin Harlan call there, but Ernie was OK
Mt Davis is said to be open for this and the tailgates started around 10 am. This is gonna be a raucous football style crowd tonight and should be a lot of fun.
Went to a game against the Mariners last year while on a work trip. One of the more fun experiences at a game I've had. There may not have been many people there, but they love the A's.
TV contracts, concessions, ticket sales, record books, roster sizes, and so many reasons why it will never happen...
...but reducing the schedule and finding ways to simulate October baseball during the summer months would help the sport from an entertainment standpoint.
Less Wednesday nights, better rested players, full stadiums, and more games that have an impact on the standings.
Playoffs are the only time I'm glued to the TV.
Again, never going to happen and it probably shouldn't.
But I love the playoff atmosphere even on TV
I almost set up an impromptu trip to Oakland to catch the game cause I think it’ll be one of the funnest environments to be in. The atmosphere and culture in the crowd is awesome and organic

Wow, ESPN has such shitty picture quality. Is this upscaled 480i?
That Diaz homer was a rocket.
Just switched from the statcast broadcast on ESPN2 to the regular broadcast on ESPN. Instantly went from a statistical and contextual analysis of the Diaz HR to the predictable mentions of shadows and foul territory. Too on point
lol. The ESPN2 broadcast is good and not necessarily because they’re doing advanced stats but mostly because they’re focusing on the action happening whereas the other broadcast focuses soooo much on narratives and making shit up and getting hot takes. A simple single turns into why the player will be the World Series mvp in 2021 or something crazy
I'm gonna stick to ESPN 2
