My parents have been there, but I've never gone. :(

I wasn't saying that at all. And I didn't boast at all when we won the LCS. I'd go someplace else but TBH the other places aren't as good and most Cubs fans are jerks. You guys all seem nice and knowledgeable so I'm just trying to fit in and talk baseball. If you don't like me that's fine.

    Yeah except...

I haven't had the desire to post ANYTHING here at DSP since we lost. Pain is pain

    However

Going on record "the Cubs are toast"

Feeling bad for ole @Sal Inman because it's over before the first pitch

    NOBODY comes back from 3:1

That said Lester striking out the side was a nice though futile effort

And Rizzo saving Ross's bumbling ancient ass was touching

    But...

Within seconds Fate announced her presence and the Indians are up 1-0

    Sorry buddy

At least you made the Workd Series

For this we at DSP welcome you

We primarily Dodgers fans envy your Cubs SP pitching

Buts the Indians just got hot at the right time while being well managed

Some key Cub's needed to step up and didn't.. Rizzo fiiiiiiinaly coming around and Hayward having one good game doesn't get it done. Baez looked good v. LA but since.. meh

So ya gotta step up or go home

He was in front by design apparently. And it was a good throw.

no doubt quick release by ross
if not by design, maybe baez anticipated it?

Announcers were saying that's how Baez takes throws at second. Rather unique approach.

    pretty effective actually
    throw gets to him quicker
and he can sweep tag them before they get to the base
i could have sworn lindor had that base stolen off lester when he took off

I can hear the Indian fans now, "I'd rather win it at home". Famous last words perhaps.

There seems to be something to it.

Looked it might have made the difference in the play tonight. Baez' quick hands don't hurt, either (no homo).
