Like BZ said, same old song and dance with the offense. Every Cashner game is the same; score 1 or 2 runs and hope the Padres don't score more. Usually they don't, but we ended up on the opposite end for once. Need Greinke to shove it Tuesday and hope Haren doesn't get blasted all over the yard.
Shit. That game cost me some coin as well. Great pitching by Ryu, bad outing by Wilson, but same old offense. Don't score absolute fuck all one day, shell it the next. Consistency will be the key.
That was the sad thing about last night. Really more than anything. I could give a shit about the result. Can't win me all.
I wonder if Dodgers in Brooklyn ever tired of fans calling them bums all the time Fan negativity is the constant here, more than the lack of production. Maybe they should be called bums because fans bum them out.
Hey man. I am positive there will always be negativity here. Sometimes, it's funny. Perez and Paco looked great. Ryu was great. The rest of the guys blew chunks.
totally agree and kinda what i said in the dotd thread wilson had a bad outing crawford (except for a pitch left up by cashner) can't make contact ethier now can't hit righties either and puig looks clueless up there but yeah ryu, perez and paco looked fantastic and it's just one game still possible we go 161-1
Jesus Christ, one game after beating up the Snakes the previous 2 and we've lost the god damned division. Nobody should have expected this team to come out guns blazing and you can thank MLB for that. It does not matter that they are rich professionals or whatever the hell people bitch about, this is a game of repetition and missing as much time as they did to take a goodwill tour to Australia is going to completely screw with these guys timing and preparation. The only person that had a good game was the one guy who had experienced something like that before(Ryu). Need proof it messes with you? Our two gold glove defenders looked completely out of sync in the IF last night. Still beyond that we had 4 balls that are home runs in a non-gimmick fucking stadium, our number 3 pitcher is starting to look like he may actually be an ace (mediocre reliever? suck my dick Keith Law) and both Perez&Paco looked great. Comparing Wilson to League? Come on, they are two entirely different pitchers with entirely different histories. League was always mediocre, pitched to contact and was already showing signs of regression in Spring, that won't work forever. Wilson was a dominant upper-echelon closer for years and bounced back from TJ#2 looking like he hadn't missed a beat(not to mention he didn't suck this spring). Let's all sit back take a deep breath and enjoy this season, it is going to be a good one.
Totally agree with you kid. It's what I would tell people on espn...let's not lose our shit until we are out of it.
BleedBlue really made the only head turner for me, predicting Wilson to be League 2.0 (Not calling you out, idgaf about that kind of stuff). Other than that....nothing caught my attention! But whatevs! #Kennedywilldie
nobody on the board has challenged anyone to a fight so far this season, so we've got that going for us
