    I agree with your post except for the first part. Kershaw has been nothing short of amazing this season. But he was 11-0 in his last 13 starts and the dodgers were 13-0 in his past 13 starts. They have been picking him up. this is one of the few times this season they didn't.

    Can't argue the cold semantics here with you...you're right. But I don't see a guy who has his ERA in those games as a team "picking him up"... they are just going out there, and watching him give up nothing, or close to it. But when he gives up a HUGE three runs, forget it. The team just sucks sometimes offensively; weak and flaccid and no comeback ability at all. Not the sign of an ultimate winner, IMO.
    You'd think , just once, they could come through for him...I mean it wouldn't have been the greatest comeback of all times.
    I stand by what I posted.

    Ichiro Suzuki's BB numbers ranged from 22 to 51. I guess you're right, he was a pretty terrible lead-off hitter.

    i'm tryin to figure out if i should be happy that they've done so well on the road, or if i should be pissed about them being so poor at home in Doyer Stadium. i guess i'll wait and see how home field shakes out when the playoffs get here. at this point..i'd look forward to LAD starting every playoff series on the road and dread the opposite. i don't know wtf it is with them, but it's definitely sad.
