so many rumors out there right now, damn Thursday night is so far away.

supposedly, most GMs think the Titans will be taking Mariota.

if that happens and the Jags pass on Leo Williams it'll be official..the Jags will be my 2nd favorite team. allowing the Raiders to get Mack and Williams in consecutive drafts? fuck it. go Jags

 

i used to think that..a lot of questions regarding Strong and DGB. after that, most guys are slot receiver types and i'd like to see them wait until the 3rd or 4th round if they're gonna take a guy who's purely a slot receiver. slot receivers get banged up..they're like the RBs of the wideout position.

i wanted Agholor in the 2nd round, but now his stock is rising. he has potential to be a #1..bigger guy that Odell Beckham Jr.

 

I hope so. If the Raiders keep the pick, I'll be happy if they take one of these 4 guys..Williams, Beasley, Cooper, or Fowler ( in no specific order)

 

If Leonard is there at 4, the Raiders have to take him. I might take Cooper over Fowler if Leonard is gone.

It's starting to smell like Mariota and Leonard could go 2, 3 - but not necessarily to the Titans and Jags.

 

i've been seeing those rumors about teams trading up for Leo Williams as well. this could be a wild draft. especially with Peterson possibly being traded..could be a lot of trades on day 1

 

People spend months getting their draft predictions together and then there's always something that happens out of the gate that puts the whole on it's side. I'm a Bucs fan, so I get to kick back for the first round this year. I'd love it if we were the team to steal Peterson, I'd say it's about 50/50 he stays in Minnesota.

 

Cooper is still by a slim margin my first choice, I think getting that #1 WR would be really huge for us, but I'm perfectly fine with Williams and making our defense loaded too. You can't go wrong either way. We're really in a perfect spot at #4.

 

Cooper would fit like a glove in the Raiders' west coast offense..an offense that relies on it's receivers to run great routes..they'd be a TOUGH outfit to cover with Cooper and Crabtree/Streater/James Jones. that's a group that can run some fuckin routes.

not surprising. coaches want results immediately and Cooper is that on day 1..i mean you get to actually see the stats and production.

a lot of what Williams does, you won't see in the box score and that can sort of be used against him somewhat. that's the way Louis Riddick somewhat explained it anyway....

Most projections have Williams as a top-three player in the draft. Riddick likes Williams, but he downgrades him a bit because he thinks Williams is a two-down player.

" This is not to say that Leonard Williams cannot be a good player, because he should be," Riddick said. "I just do not want to pay that kind of price for a good two-down player that I don't know if he will be a good third-down producer. I have not seen it, and I don't trust it at this point. The expectations do not match up with the projection for me. "
