The Lakers fucking suck at everything right now. Pretty confident Russell is Johnny Flynn since the Lakers drafted him.

 

The Lakers free agent pitch is much like a perspective job seeker who can't get a job unless they have experience but they cannot get a experience without getting a job. Not to mention the fact that the in house free agents can get a lot more money from their current teams.

me too, but i think i like Ed Davis better than Lopez for this team. Lopez is tough, but slow as a fuck with brick hands. they're saying Randle is on some Odom shit, so he needs guys that can run with him, catch, and finish and you know Russell needs capable runners/receivers with all his passing ability. i wouldn't be mad if they just brought Davis and Hill back. BScott would probably love Lopez tho.

Harris is easily more gifted than Carroll and 6 or so years younger. 4yrs/64M for him. that should win his services.

It's hopeless for now. Truly the best we have to hope for is not a game changing signing this FA, but for Clarkson, Randle and Russell, and whatever Kobe has left in the tank, to play some inspired ball, show that the rookies are the real deal, and make a 7th or 6th seed in the West.

Without something concrete to show that this team is on the right path, no FA is going to want to sign here and leave their current team, max deal or not.
