18-year-old left-hander Leonardo Crawford got back to his scoreless ways with three scoreless frames in a 3-1 win over the DSL Rockies. Crawford did not allow a hit in his three innings, but walked two and struck out two. Signed out of Nicaragua in July 2014, Crawford has held his opponent scoreless in eight of his 13 professional games (plus one other start with only one unearned run allowed), and on the season has a 1.58 ERA with 64 strikeouts and 10 walks in 57 innings.

Where did this guy come from.

Cody Bellinger has hit 2 HRs tonight, giving him 25 on the year, 2nd game of a DH is ongoing.

Bellinger hit his 26th last night, tying him for the Cal League lead.

Pretty good news but it says a lot about the Cal league ballparks so hopefully he can repeat this in Tulsa.

I agree, but Bellinger's power will play in any ballpark. It was legit from the time we drafted him.

I'm getting more and more excited for Bellinger. Hopefully he can continue to progress and be the replacement for AGon we will sorely need in a couple years.

Seager is more than holding his own as a 21 year old in AAA.

Unfortunately, "holding his own" isn't what you look for from the #2 prospect in the game, that .765 OPS isn't getting it done.

Probably not. He tore it up in about a half-season (247 ABs) in AA, and likely wouldn't have benefitted from more time, I guess I just would have expected him to adjust by now and have a good few weeks.

Seager did have a virus in mid-late July. His rhythm may have been effected there.

He's been ready since June. His numbers don't mean anything
