Perhaps 1 way...if that righty is a power arm. Ethier's a career .237/.330/.376 guy against power arms and was worse than that last year. The lineup looks OK from a talent standpoint, and there's continuity (which could be argued from both positive and negative standpoints TBH), but if we're looking down the line and at the kind of arms they generally have to go through in October.. ..we still only have maybe 3 or 4 guys that hold up against power arms and that's being generous...there's Adrian, Howie (sorta), maybe Corey ( please God), and perhaps a Turner who just pretty much did a 180 turn in the post from what he generally does against live arms ( and we know about his knee stuff). From there we have Kike who did really well against power arms in a small sample size ( a lot like non-playoff Corey), so not really sure where to place him yet. But yeah we're pretty much left hoping that some of these other guys can do the 180 turn like Turner did against live arms in general. Puig wasn't terrible against live arms during the 1st year and a half of his stay with LAD, maybe there's something there, but personally I'm not counting on Puig. I'm sure they'll be shut down by young gunners a handful of times in the reg-season and it'll serve as a reminder...hopefully not no-hit again.
Whoa! LOTI! In the end I couldn't not like this post. I'm not going to lie though, I looked around to make sure there were no old southern whites in the room before hitting like.
LOTI Abbreviation for Laughing On The Inside, an more honest internet lingo than LOL, in which you find something funny but you are not really laughing out loud. courtesy of UrbanDictionary.com BZ...
Capn is correct. Laughing on the inside. Laughing out loud at that post felt oddly inappropriate, but I couldn't help but find it damn funny.
fugh i thought it meant loquacious on the inside like the quiet computer nerd who solves complex problems in his mind but says little like if were suffering from muteness
The numbers behind perhaps the reason why Zack is not with us is explained a bit in the backend of the following article. A majority is of course about the great re-signing of Howie. http://mlbreports.com/2016/01/31/hklad2016/
