Actually, I will think in Norse, speak German and have lots of runic tattoos .
I plan to eliminate the dwarf Altuve, behead Correa, and throw caustic chemicals in Springer's eyes so that he can never stare stupidly with that deer in the headlights look ever again.
    Looking forward to it.

The end is near to the fryer my brother.
Which is why the papas are getting oh so dear to the friar.
But don't worry that's just the way the story goes.
Before the piety papas tuck into fraile frauleins.
And the dodgers free up those sequestered carbs.

Funny how you don't read much on how incompetent and ridiculous Derek Jeeter is as an owner now...
And speaking of owners, ours and their choice of manager and his obstinate attitude on Jansen for more than a few seasons, begs the quextion, imo, how do you sign and develop the depth they have and leave the closer spot shrouded in doubt ?
    Don't get it.
All players peak and then their careers wind down...it's in the books and written in stone. The glory of Kenley was of another day, like Rome's. It's even in a classic song.
He was great, but it's over. As it comes to every one of us. He's just human, that's all...
But to not realize it by a manager, and repeatedly jeopardize a team's chances, after relentless failure extending into the fourth decade, is both asking for it and flat out stupid.
A stubborn, destructive little man. And a well paid imp, too.
While everyone wrestles with what to do about it, is using one of the three kids as closer right now not an option ?
May, for instance, looked superhuman the other night...

Very true, it's really more of a Roberts issue. Though it's 3 fucking guys...how hard is it to come in and give 100% on every pitch and get three guys out with a huge lead? I think there's something to his struggles in the high leverage situations.

He has always been incredibly stubborn, which doesn't sit with me well. I recall several instances where he refuses to adapt or change his approach, or claims that he needs to be the closer.

But " his approach" is to throw a 90, 90+ mph cutter, which he can't do anymore. His attitude is what you hear always what a manager actually wants from a player, blah, blah. " I want the ball" so to speak. All the time.
But it's the manager, who gets paid to handle those situations per se, where the responsibility lies. To recognize, at some fucking point, his skills are not valid anymore.
Not to taint lick him season after diminished season.
