    Damn, the Tigers just went to shit. Down 9-1 to the Twins in the 4th after losing 20-6 last night. They went from a decent lead in the Central to 2.5 GB and 0.5 back form the second WC spot.

    I genuinely thought they'd be the team to beat when they got Price.

    Still a lot of baseball to be played but yeah I hope they miss the playoffs cause fuck them and the Rays for that bullshit trade! :mad:

    Their bullpen is terrible. Verlander hasn't been Verlander and their fifth starter has been rocked.

    They still have three other capable guys, but they don't seem as scary as they used to.

    There was an interesting comparison a while ago where someone mentioned they were like the Rangers. World Series contenders who didn't get the job done, and now they're tired and aren't as good as promised.

    Still a ton of baseball to be played, though.

    Verlander in the 2nd game. Twinkies actually aren't bad offensively so I was wrong there but 32 runs is 32 runs! Damn I keep getting stats wrong. LOL. :smh:

    I like seeing Bryce Harper fail. Seems like an egotistical prick, but i'd be ok with him hitting a couple of HR this series

    Lester is a horse and THE best big game pitcher out there as a soon to be FA. We don't absolutely know that Greinke is not going to exercise his option, so he would be a great fall back.

    Kershaw
    Greinke
    Ryu
    Only 3 starters locked in for next season. God help us if Haren's option vests, if it doesn't, he is as good as gone, but if it does, he's locked in as our #5. Greinke can opt out and leave after next season, which I doubt happens, but still possible. Urias won't be ready for a couple years probably. Same with Holmes, not sure about Lee and Anderson. We can re-sign Hernandez or re-sign/exercise Billingsley's option and who knows about Beckett, but he'll probably retire. Since Lester doesn't cost a pick, I expect the Dodgers to make him, Hanley Ramirez, and Russell Martin priorities this off-season.
