    heartbreaking. I don't even have the care to nitpick or analyze, all that matters is a loss. We have the pitching advantage in games 3 and 4 but they have home field. This one sucked and Friday is so far away.

    Going into this game I don't think anyone would be surprised a tied series going against Verlander. We have Yu going Friday and Kersh on Sunday. I like our chances.

    Such a horrible feeling. There are so many ways to lose a baseball game, but to lose a World Series game that you thought you had won is so fucking painful.

    Sports are like being in a relationship with an abusive partner. You know they are bad for you, but you keep coming back

    Well this is like coming home from a shitty day at work and seeing the whole neighborhood run train on your GF.

    yup, thats where I'm at. We're not gonna win this series if McCarthy/Fields are deciding games. When it gets to that point, we've lost.

    No way, IMO. Tons of righties coming up, and you expect Maeda/Watson/Brandon/Jansen to be able to get you 5 innings. We had Maeda/Watson/Brandon get us 3 of those 5, and then Brandon/Jansen fucked up.

    So many mistakes by Dave today.
    The last one was saving Wood your 4th pitcher when this game was tied.
    Twice.
    You could have started Maeda the 4th game or gone with Kershaw on short rest.
    Its not like he has pitched a ton of innings.

    Houston is a great home team and has insane momentum. Not to mention, we have Alex Wood starting game 4. It's likely....and I hate to admit it

    The RBI single wasn't even bad, Correa just put the bat on the ball and it found a hole. The HR to Gonzalez was bad. He had him 0-2 and got cocky, he needed to bury a slider under the knees first before doing whatever the fuck that was.

    Kenley Jansen blew 1 save all year. A game vs the Atlanta Braves that we won.

    I have high expectations for him and it's so disheartening that he waited to blow his 2nd save vs the bottom of the Houston order in game 2 of the World Series at home. The worst part about it is he had the guy at 0-2.

    We have Yu tomorrow and then after Wood its Kershaw time.
    Of the next 3 games I am confident we should go 2-1.
    That would have us up 3-2.
    Then its up to Hill and Yu with Wood and Kershaw in relief.
