Dude is getting paid this offseason. I'm not kidding, he may be worth giving the QO to.

Turner switched to a lighter bat after being beat inside twice. Got another pitch inside. Gone.

Justin Turner will move back to the third spot in the batting order with Corey Seager batting second tomorrow, Dave Roberts said.

I still like Puig in the bottom of the order.

With Verlander, you have to make him show his age. Work the count, foul off pitches, be smart. He's had a lot of innings and pitches in the playoffs.

Get him out of there early and work their BP.

Verlander has been great in his career in the postseason... except he’s had 2 bad starts in his only World Series starts. I don’t think it’s predictive but hopefully the trend continues where he tears up the first two rounds and falters in the WS

In all honesty I’m more worried about hill than facing verlander. Hill has to be on his A game against all those righties. If he can give us a quality start I think we have a really good chance at going up 2-0. This team will make adjustments after every at bat and come thru when needed. I see cody and Corey having big games tomorrow. Verlander will go as far as he’s needed but if we get his pitch count up they won’t have a choice. He’s been used a lot so far this postseason and eventually it will catch up. Call me optimistic or fuck it call me crazy but I think we get to him tomorrow. #3morewins

    another thing
with verlander 9-0 with the astros he's their ace in the hole
if he wins, its almost like "meh, yeah he's been hot"
but if we somehow win tomorrow, it's going to be a huge punch in houston's gut

Altuve and Correa looked like Ruth and Gehrig compared to Springer. He looked like he was going to cry.

McCann/Marwin/Reddick/P was laughable against Kershaw. Hopefully Hill can make it look just as bad.

Also Keuchel deserves no credit for his start tonight he pitched like shit and should've been knocked out of the game way earlier.

Verlander is 0-3 with a 7.2 ERA (15 runs, 12 ER in 15 innings) in 3 career World Series starts. But that is totally irrelevant to tomorrow
