    Yes, but many of those "strikes" were, in reality, not. Kersh got some, too.
    But Keuchel makes his living at it, and does it quite well.
    Verlander is not dependent on getting the Maddux call like Keuchel is...should be interesting how they go at him.

    BFD, man!!! They went at Ray, Greinke, Keuchel, Arrieta, Quintana, Lester etc and lost only once, and that was due to Dave's fucked up man crush on Granderson. So, bring that MoFo on and send him out on a stretcher! FUCK 'EM ALL, I say!!! :D :D :D

    It was fun waking up to and reading all of the national heads raving about Kershaw. It’s great not having to hear about the postseason narrative BS anymore.

    You know that in many languages the sound "baa" simply means yes.
    So you heard it here first before NZ gets into any trouble for harassment as is the norm nowadays.
    That while No means No, Baa means Yes.
    So the sheep are at the very least asking for it. And asking for it all the damn time.

    totally agree
    other than taylor and turner no one was having good disciplined at bats
    puig had one too but then swung at a pitcher's pitch 3-1
    working the count, getting the starter out of there has been our successful mo
    even more so now with houston's inferior bullpen
    verlander is a great pitcher and has been on fire lately...
    but that's all the more reason to make him work as much as possible -- especially with the >100° temp
    if we can get into the houston pen with the lead or the game still close, advantage us

    and in a weird way i'm almost -- emphasis on almost -- hoping for it
    would be great to win 4 games as quickly as possible
