Pretty much need to get Kimbrel or someone. Not just for the "bridge" to Kenley, but perhaps to replace Kenley. Not necessarily as "closer", but as the relief ace who gets the ball at the most critical moments of each game. Sometimes that would mean bumping Kenley from the 9th if we have less than a 3-run lead.

Almost every fly ball goes over the fence when Kenley pitches, dating back to late 2017. He is becoming a smoke and mirrors, quantitive achievement closer. No way we win a WS with him out there.

If this F.O. is as smart as I and others give them credit for, they wont allow "roles", "reputation", ego and money get in the way of making the right decisions for this team.

 

Yeah go get a fucking closer one way or another, this is a joke. One of the greatest closers of all time is a free agent and every other aspect of our team is great, this is common sense.

 

Throw a shitload of money at Kimbrel on a one year deal.

The fact that they won a ring is precisely why they can enjoy the little things. Once you win a WS, you're playing with house money for at least 6 years.

Haha. I pregame with my friends, but we also by these plastic flasks that we sneak in filled with whiskey. We have like four of em so we just buy sodas and make mixed drinks. Only thing I buy at the stadium is a michelada.
